wow....

well it's been a dizzying up and down ride but the floor hockey team did not go as i planned.... a very poor showing and end to our two game season.... but still a lot of progress and there's always next year in the intramural floor hockey circuit.... here i am, leading the troops to a close 6-0 defeat at the hands of those faceless foes:

it's bad enough that too much emphasis is placed on today's celebrities... such as britney and paris and whatever....

but then, news stories like that stupid natalee holloway stuff come before election coverage....

THE GIANTS BEAT THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS IN SUPER BOWL 42....
i will never watch an nfl game as long as i live.... i hate the giants, i hate new york sports teams, and i hate....... absolutely hate, this man:

according this tonights super bowl logic... the philadelphia eagles and houston texans should meet in super bowl 43 and slug it out in a 42-41 shootout of biblical proportions

as a philadelphia native (well suburbs anyway) i was raised, to an almost religious nature, to hate new york teams.... at least i can look forward to the eagles next year.... with billy bob manning at qb

man this business is taxing...

So my job has been going well so far.... its a little boring but I'm hoping it will pick up steam

this week we had this thing called education day..... i'm telling you it kinda reminded me of something on "the office". it was this 8 hour long meeting that went over the updates to tax law.... i wanted to gouge my eyes out and also blow up my eardrums... it was really boring!!!! but supposedly from another co-op there, we will get extremely business really soon... many of the co-workers were making some really awful jokes too... but i still loved them.... i am a pushover when it comes to zinger or a pun...

well anyway... this is my first entry in this blog and basically i'm going to talk about my life in the city of philadelphia and my time as a drexel student... just as a preface....

anyhoooooo, it's snowing right now and i just got home from work... i'm on co-op right now working at this law firm...

it's actually my third and final co-op and i'm doing TAX ACCOUNTING! wooo....

a funny thing about tax accounting....when i tell people that's what i do and they first hear the words "tax accounting", their eyes start to glaze over and i can only imagine a ben stein-like voice in their head repeating "bueller, bueller, bueller..." but it's actually not that boring yet (it's only my second week doing this stuff).

i kind of fell into this whole accounting biz.... it's really my second choice.... my first choice...

the weird thing is i'm serious.... you know daft punk.... the guys who kanye west made a song with... that's where most people know them from.... anyway.... this has been one long and pointless entry...

well i guess the point is.... to have cool dreams but grounded realities!
